2012 has started out well for me photography wise with January seeing me come runner up as Pet Photographer of the year and runner up as Architectural Photographer of the year 2011 with the SWPP. I'm, pretty thrilled with those results and never expected to do so well, I will need to put a lot of effort in to equal them this year.

Even more good news came in February when I discovered I had gained a pass in my panel for Licentitate in Portraiture with the SWPP. Now that I have Licentiates in my two favourite areas ( including nature and wildlife) I am concentrating on producing a panel of images to enter for an Associateship in nature and wildlife this year. I will be trying to produce images with more artistic merit and also a series of capturing reptiles in motion. Watch this space

A few of my friends on here already know that I have had M.E for around 5 years and how it has seriously affected my life, resulting in many periods of time when I can struggle to leave the house due to having so little energy and stamina. The end of 2011 was particularly difficult for me with regards to the effects of the M.E and also recovering from a minor operation. But I do seem to be picking up a lot this year and have been regaining strength and stamina, so much so that I am at a point where I am able to offer the occassional Reptile and Amphibian photography workshops in Bristol. So if you are interested in the opportunity to photograph these fascinating creatures with me then do get in touch. I have the following dates available
March 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st
April 16th, April 21st
